I did Uber and Lyft, job hopped for a bit, then eventually learned a new skill (real estate investing) and started in on that the end of 2020. I've talked/lied myself into more than one job that I was absolutely unqualified for, or I had NO experience in, so I know l'm gone be OK regardless.

I just was tired of Vegas, so I got up and left. Not having kids has definitely given me an advantage when it comes to my freedom and the decisions l've made.

I landed a better position w/ almost 2x the pay within 30 days. Just cause you're not ready to move, doesn't mean it isn't your time to go

However, it's commendable to have the bravery to leave a job that compromises who you are as supposed to complimenting who you are...many people spend decades in misery

    Font - Joni Wikhi @apollo_316 Replying to @iamKierraD My old workplace was so toxic and I just had to quit and did so in March this year, had an eviction notice and no clue where l'd go to next with my 2 kids and wife. 6 months and some days now I'm so Ok, never been this happier in a decade and miracles do happen.

I quit and was jobless for 4 months and almost lost everything we've built but found another opportunity right before the bottom. At the end of the day l'd rather lay in dirt and be happy than in a cloud and be sad.
