I saw a meme the other day riffing off Kate Moss' infamous quote about being skinny. It said: 'nothing pays as good as unemployment feels' and I have to say, there's a nugget of truth hidden beneath the ridiculousness of such a statement. If a job sucks enough, no amount of money is going to make you magically enjoy the work. Sometimes a job can become so unbearable that you just snap. @iamKierraD asked Twitter if anyone had ever 'randomly quit a job' with no backup plan and thousands have responded with stories about quitting on the spot and even trying to get fired from their crappy jobs. I did Uber and Lyft, job hopped for a bit, then eventually learned a new skill (real estate investing) and started in on that the end of 2020. I just was tired of Vegas, so I got up and left. Not having kids has definitely given me an advantage when it comes to my freedom and the decisions l've made.

However, it's commendable to have the bravery to leave a job that compromises who you are as supposed to complimenting who you are...many people spend decades in misery

I quit and was jobless for 4 months and almost lost everything we've built but found another opportunity right before the bottom.
